Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2021 - Silver Gilt
An ongoing contract carrying out management of the large gardens and grounds at this Grade II listed historical site, on the outskirts of the City of Chelmsford. The site having recently been converted into luxury apartments.
Our brief here, through our team of Horticulturists, is to achieve a high standard and deliver best practise Horticulture to help revive the very old gardens following years of neglect, through weekly site visits.
It's a challenging project to be involved in whilst remaining sensitive to the history of the site being at the forefront of our minds. That being said, the Palace is a fantastic backdrop and an enviable setting for any of our Horticulturists to work in.
Following only a short period of two years looking after the gardens and grounds of the Palace, we are delighted that our work on this project has been acknowledged at a national level, winning a silver gilt medal at the National Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2021.
On behalf of Danbury Palace Management I have to say we have been very pleased with the service we have received from County Garden Management. Danbury Palace gardens had been untouched for many years and with no maintenance, the gardens were in a very shabby state.
County Garden Management have been on site now for nearly two years and the improvement is considerable. Danbury Palace Management has a limited budget and we have been able to work with County Garden Mannagement not only to maintain the gardens but also carryout improvements, but there is a lot more to do.
I would like to think that we can carry on with good work for many years to come.
Kind Regards DPM Board
